On April 23–24, 2026, AtyrauGeo 2026 VI International Scientific and Practical Geological Conference, organized by the Kazakhstan Society of Petroleum Geologists (KSPG), was held in Atyrau. The event brought together around 250 specialists from more than six countries, as well as representatives of the Atyrau Oblast Akimat, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KazMunayGas National Company JSC, the KAZENERGY Association, relevant industry organizations, and the scientific community.
The international exhibition of green technologies and sustainable solutions, RES 2026 EXPO, was held in Astana with the participation of the heads of states of Central Asia. The event was dedicated to the transition toward environmentally responsible development and green economy. More than 300 participants from 30 countries attended the exhibition.
On April 13, 2026, a meeting was held between Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) leadership and members of the Petrocouncil business association, during which the further development of the oil and gas industry and the improvement of Kazakhstani content were discussed. Approximately 90 local companies took part in the meeting.
